Equestrian has a separate entrance to the park, and plenty of space for camping. There are no rental horses or stables on site. All owners wishing to keep their steeds on site must bring a portable pen, keep them at night in the trailer, or highline them. We ask that equestrians camp adjacent to their horses to provide adequate supervision. There will be a registration document so we can prepare for your steeds and trailer requirements.

The site will open at 5pm for horses Thursday. Friday there will be an introductory horse safety class in the morning and again in the evening and authorizations for riders offered as time permits. Other activities will be determined depending on the whims of those riders there then, but will have plenty of options.

Saturday will host the Challenge Course – activities to include heads aka “hats off to the Landsknect”, reeds aka sausage slice, quintain, rescue the tros frau, spear throw aka codpiece jackpot- which has the most jewels), snatch the plume, a lunch Equestrian Meet & Greet, a rousing round of buzkashi “goat ball”, the King’s Lancer Tourney and some heavy mounted combat.

If you plan to bring a horse, please register in advance to better accommodate you and your trusty steed. Be sure to send/ bring copies of a negative Coggins test & health certificate (if from out of state) in order to have your horse on site.

All riders must either have authorization cards from their Kingdom of Residence, or take the Safety class and authorize on site, as time permits.
Children must be 5 years old or older, demonstrate pre-existing rider proficiency, must wear an approved riding helmet, have a parent present during the activity, and sign a special waiver. No separate children’s tourney will be held, but may have the option of competing with the adults during the challenge course, at the marshal’s discretion. Minors may use any size weapon that they can successfully and safely wield, with the exception of metal tips. Children must take the Friday risk management class & must be able to control the horses themselves to authorization at a trot or canter.

Please contact Countess Ellawin of Eaglewood (MKA Karen Hatten at khtten@aol.com, message or call before 10pm EST cell phone 478-361-2806).
